I photographed this property on Rennie’s Isle, Leith for a letting agent, Southside Property Management. You may wonder whether hiring a professional photographer is a worthwhile thing to do for letting agents.
I do understand that is might not be financially viable to do so for every property. There is a lot of competition and landlords are looking for the best deal, i.e relatively low fees. I wouldn’t pay for a professional photographer for student shared accommodations for example. It would do little to boost your brand and I imagine the properties are relatively easy to rent due to the high demand from Edinburgh University students. But for a nice, upmarket property like this one on Rennie’s Isle in Leith, it could be a good idea.
Not only might you get better tenants willing to pay a bit more for a nice place to live, but the photographs give you some marketing material to use when promoting your company via social media or with printed brochures.
